Chris has started the year being on set filming for Red Production Company/HBO Max's new series of Boys written by Russell T Davies and directed by Peter Hoar. It will be airing on Channel 4 in Summer 2021.

Chris will play Charles Lightoller in the hugely successful production of Titanic The Musical produced by Danielle Tarento. The production will tour China for 6 weeks through November and December 2019 visiting Beijing, Shanghai, Nanjing and Guangzhou.

Chris will be filming ITV's new adaptation of Jane Austen's unfinished novel, Sanditon. It is developed by Emmy and BAFTA-Award winning writer Andrew Davies (War & Peace, Mr Selfridge, Les Misérables, Pride and Prejudice).

It is being produced by Red Planet Pictures, ITV and Masterpiece starring Anne Reid, Rose Williams and Theo James.

Bare: A Pop Opera

Chris is fight directing Bare: A Pop Opera at The Vaults, London.

A pulsating, electric contemporary rock/pop musical, Bare follows a group of students

at a Catholic boarding school as they grapple with issues of sexuality, identity, and

the future.

Directed by Julie Atherton, it runs from 21st June - 4th August. Tickets available here.

Chris will be playing Dandini in Qdos' Cinderella at New Victoria Theatre in Woking alongside Strictly's Craig Revel Horwood and Paul Chuckle!

The Return Of The Soldier

10th August 2018

Chris will be starring in as Christopher Baldry in Charles Miller and Tim Sanders' The Return Of The Soldier at Hope Mill Theatre, Manchester from 6th-29th September and New Wolsey, Ipswich from 1st-6th October.

Set in Harrow during the summer of 1916, The Return of the Soldier is an intensely bitter-sweet tale, dissecting the very different love of three women for one man. When Christopher returns from the front, shell-shocked and with memory loss, there are profound consequences for all three women and their love. In the end, only an extraordinary sacrifice will restore the fragile status quo.

Zelda - A Post-Modern Musical

Chris will be involved in the Zelda - A Post-Modern Musical workshop at The Other Palace. Zelda is a brand new musical that tells the incredible story of Zelda Fitzgerald with an incredible jazz fuelled jukebox score of post-modern hits.

Chris will be appearing at Bobbie in a semi staged production of The Arcadians at Wilton's Music Hall on 1st August. It is the first professional production in decades. It's one night only, so book tickets here

Chris will be appearing in Cinderella at Hackney Empire this Christmas as Prince Charming.

Marking their 19th pantomime for Hackney Empire, Cinderella will be written and directed by Susie McKenna with original music by Steven Edis. The award-winning team has been the creative force behind London’s number one pantomime for nearly two decades and will once again be bringing a classic story bang up to date.

This Christmas, Harlem meets Hackney in the classic rags to riches tale of Cinderella. In true Hackney Empire style that brings West End value at East End prices, this magical, family pantomime will be packed with glittering sets, big song and dance numbers, slapstick comedy plus a flying horse, all played out in the beautiful Victorian Theatre.

Offies Nominations

Chris has been nominated in the Off West End awards for his performance as Jon in tick, tick...BOOM! at Park Theatre as Best Male In A Musical alongside his fellow cast members who both received nominations for Best Supporting Male and Best Supporting Female respectively. Bronagh Lagan has received a nomination for Best Director Of A Musical and we have also been nominated for Best Musical.

The Likes Of Us

Chris will be workshopping Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's first ever musical, The Likes Of Us as Johnny Grey. Based on the true story of Thomas John Barnardo who, throughout his lifetime, founded homes for over 60,000 children which gave us Barnardo's charity today. The show was written in 1965 but was never professionally staged.

Directed by Christopher Luscombe.
