Jack Absolute Flies Again

Chris is joining the cast of Jack Absolute Flies Again directed by Emily Burns at the National Theatre. He will be part of the ensemble and understuding the roles of Bob Acres and Dudley Scunthorpe.

Mab Hudel

Chris has completed filming Mab Hudel (Magical Son), a Cornish language (Kernewek) short film, written and directed by Edward Rowe. Chris plays the lead, Enys, who is discovering who he is on the rugby pitch and whilst burdened with familial responsibility after losing his father who never quite understood him.
Mab Hudel will be entered into festivals and released later in the year.

Stephen Schwartz Musical Workshop

Chris is part of the workshop cast of a reworking of a Stephen Schwartz piece. It's a privelge to be working with him and his son, Scott Schwartz, who is directing.

Savage Madonna Workshop

Chris is part of the workshop cast of Savage Madonna writen by James D Reid and directed by Hannah Chiswick. The musical is based on the lives of Sophie & Henri Gaudier-Brzeska.

All That: The Boundaries of Modern Gay Living

Chris will be appearing as Riley in the upcoming production of All That at Kings Head Theatre. All That is headlining the wildly popular Queer Season at the theatre.
Directed by James Callàs Ball and written by Shaun Kitchener, All That explores the boundaries of modern gay living.
All That will run from 27 July - 21 August.

The Danish Girl

Chris has been part of the development cast of The Danish Girl for the past 18 months and will be taking part in the first in-person workshop at New Theatre, Peteborough this month. The musical by Katie Lam & Alex Parker is an adaptaion of David Ebershoff's 2000 book and the 2015 film starring Eddie Redmayne and Alicia Vikander. The workshop will be directed by Tinuke Craig.

It's A Sin

Chris has started the year being on set filming for Red Production Company/HBO Max's new series of Boys written by Russell T Davies and directed by Peter Hoar. It will be airing on Channel 4 in January 2021.

Titanic
21st Oct 2019
Chris will play Charles Lightoller in the hugely successful production of Titanic The Musical produced by Danielle Tarento. The production will tour China for 6 weeks through November and December 2019 visiting Beijing, Shanghai, Nanjing and Guangzhou.

Sanditon

Chris will be filming ITV's new adaptation of Jane Austen's unfinished novel, Sanditon. It is developed by Emmy and BAFTA-Award winning writer Andrew Davies (War & Peace, Mr Selfridge, Les Misérables, Pride and Prejudice).
It is being produced by Red Planet Pictures, ITV and Masterpiece starring Anne Reid, Rose Williams and Theo James.

Bare: A Pop Opera
11th June 2019
Chris is fight directing Bare: A Pop Opera at The Vaults, London.
A pulsating, electric contemporary rock/pop musical, Bare follows a group of students
at a Catholic boarding school as they grapple with issues of sexuality, identity, and
the future.
Directed by Julie Atherton, it runs from 21st June - 4th August. Tickets available here.
